Some want magic, glitter and lights in the sky. These two got theirs in pastels. It was a perfect surrender to the 8 years of togetherness. She had the dream wedding she had always hoped for, and he left no stone unturned for her. It was every bit as they had imagined it to be, and so much more.
Tania and Aeckharth, traditionally lived the old classic school rock and blues the new gen style, in all elegance and panache. The Taj Palace, Delhi, was chosen as the venue for their wedding day, and lit up in modish contemporary pastel shades.
The duo had personalized everything from the wedding invites to the time-honored décor. The bespoke invites were in tandem with the handcrafted persona, and beautifully exquisite in its soft-hued tones.
The Wedding Mandap
The simplicity of the moment stood still with the extravagance of Tania-Aeckharth’s mandap. Submerged in pinks and handcrafted with charming florals. Adding to this, the candle lighting and mirror hangings in the background, in conjunction with the monochrome pictures of their parents’ and grandparents’ ‘jai malaa’ moments, recreated a vintage tour of the celebration of love.
The Music Collective
Rocking the rock and roll of the 80’s to the thump of the 90’s, was the ‘The Copycats’ playing live covers from ABBA and the BeeGees. Delighting the crowd was Tania and Aeckharth twisting to the tunes.
Unconventionally rooted, Tania was stunning on the stage in her perfect pastel Sabyasachi lehenga, with the ethnic Kundan jewelry.
The electric couple, Tania and Aeckharth tied the knot on November 23, in Delhi, with blessings of their family and friends.
