Tanya and Najib married in a beautiful and intimate petals and roses themed wedding in Beirut, Lebanon on a warm summer day. Starting with a traditional ceremony in a grand church, and going to a glamorous reception – the bride and groom’s special day was a modern day fairytale.
The big day began with Tanya getting her makeup done by popular makeup artist Maya Yammine. She opted for a very pretty look with a smokey eye and pink lips. Tanya’s hair was styled by the renowned Victor Keyrouz, she wore it in a low classic ponytail with curls; she also wore an elegant white floral crown.
What the Bride Wore
For the wedding ceremony, Tanya chose to wear a beautiful custom made ball gown style dress. The waist and sleeves of the dress were made of delicate lace, while the skirt followed the wedding theme of petals and roses and featured these throughout. The wedding dress was backless, and had a long train behind.
Simplicity is key with accessories; Tanya wore diamond stud earrings and a simple silver necklace keeping the attention on her beautiful wedding dress. Her long beautiful veil was made of a mixture of tulle and lace.
Tanya arrived to the church in a vintage white Rolls Royce and was escorted into the church by her groom. The beautiful church was filled with Tanya and Najib’s closest family and friends. The aisle was lined with white candles and flower petals setting a romantic mood and giving a vintage feel to the wedding.
What the Groom Wore
After the wedding, the party moved to the ballroom at the Hilton Habtoor Grand Hotel. The decor featured elegant circular, square and rectangular tables, seating, drapes and table settings- all in white. High white floral centerpieces and gold lighting added a glamorous touch to the reception. Golden chandeliers were suspended over the lounge area, and gorgeous florals took over the tables.
The stage was lit by candles and high-standing florals for the bride and groom, and the dance floor was created in the middle of the room. Najib entered the ballroom with his male friends around – as per tradition, while Tanya entered with her girl friends – all dancing to music to start the party off right.
After the cake was cut, Tanya and Najib made there way down to the dance floor where they had their first slow dance as husband and wife. They were then joined by family and friends for a night of fun in celebration of their marriage!
