Roma & Ishaan’s focus on having an eco-friendly and sustainable wedding transformed their wedding location to a beautiful green arena complete with intricate details that reflected their individual personalities.
The carefully planned mehendi was filled with handicrafts and detailing that were carefully chosen to be environmentally friendly, avoiding wastage. DIY invitations and handmade decor at the mehendi and wedding reflected the couple’s liking. Bottles draped with colourful threads and candles hung low on ribbons from surrounding tree branches to avoid plastic usage.
The Wedding and Couture
Roma and Ishaan had a intimate Hindu floral themed Indian wedding at the farm house.
Roma looked elegant in a Rohit Bal baby pink lehenga traced with golden thread work and gold jewellery. Ishaan complemented Roma in a sophisticated Rajesh Pratap Singh white suit.
In the Bride’s Words: The Eco-Friendly Intricacies
This elegant wedding was executed thanks to our entire family, the wedding planner and SM Weddings. To bring some green and freshness at the wedding, we planted 1000 potted plants at the venue. Instead of single time use plastic sheets for covering the tables and harming the environment, we opted to reuse newspapers with vibrant paintings to cover the dinner tables from Jyoti Chandnani stationery. Beautiful and vibrant aipan art enveloped our mandap.
Guest’s also loved the fresh and organic pressed juices from Antidote that brought a fun touch to the wedding.
