Arushi and Dhruv celebrated their wedding with family and friends in the big fat Indian style with a grand and traditional wedding ceremony at the Leela Ambiance, Gurgaon. The celebrations continued after the palatial wedding, with a reception dinner at the Mansion, Hyatt.
The Dress & Suit
Arushi looked graceful in her peach and gold Sabyasachi lehenga with gold kundan and green stone accessories from Sri Hari Diagems. Dhruv wore a cream and gold Sabyasachi sherwani with a layered green chain to pair with Arushi’s look.
The groom was welcomed by family and friends as he arrived in style riding a horse. Upon the arrival of Dhruv, Arushi made a grand entrance into the decorated Leela foyer, accompanied by close family.
Following this, the couple exchanged garlands and were engaged in the wedding rituals. The mark of sindoor applied by Dhruv on Arushi’s forehead completed their commitment to each other.
In the Bride’s Words: Choosing the Photographer
Pictures last forever.
I choose Morvi images after seeing her pictures a few years ago. Morvi’s pleasant vibe made my family, friends and I feel very comfortable while she clicked. Her impeccable eye for detail produced outstanding photographs that make me relive my wedding memories.
Tips to Future Couples from the Bride
Firstly, if you have a mehendi function, ensure you get a part of it done beforehand so as to enjoy the function with your friends and family. Secondly, if you are having a series of functions I would advise you to go for more than one makeup artist, in order to get different styling and looks. Thirdly, getting a venue during peak wedding season is difficult so try and book your venue as early as possible. Lastly, invest in a good photographer as it’s the only memory that will last a lifetime.
