Big surprises come in small packages. It was the smallest of tête-à-têtes that lead Priyanka and Atishay into sunlit Seattle for a perfect proposal date.
They have grown together, learned together, but most of all, learned from each other. Of all joys and tears shared, Priyanka and Atishay bring fairytales into light.
To all NRI brides, Priyanka set ground shattering records planning her wedding halfway across the world. Our contemporary bride capitalized on social media circuits to keep up with the vendors and the world of bridal fashion. Priyanka and Atishay’s family told them once to enjoy every moment of their d-day. As suggested, they made the most memorable one to come.
The Yellow & Green Shades of Celebration
Priyanka and Atishay held their mehendi, haldi and sangeet function at the esteemed ITC Maurya, New Delhi. Bhumika Grover- the stylist for the mehendi, did justice to the day with a nonpareil ensemble of the traditional blend of haldi yellow, jade green and a hint of pink. The outfit perfectly matched with the Fooljhadi’s empyrean choice ornaments.
The One with all the Dancing
To follow and match the day’s regime, the sangeet ceremony saw the stellar blue and white combination in personification of the night sky. The evening was greeted by sharing the love of dancing, music and lights play.
In the Bride’s Words
“Enjoy every moment of your wedding; before you know it’ll be over, and you won’t remember any of it.”
So, throughout all the wedding ceremonies, I made a conscious effort to take it all in, notice details, memorize people’s faces, hold on to their kind words, feel and feel and feel. But even so, there was so much that happened in so many beautiful and individual moments that seeing these pictures makes my heart well with happiness. So much I had already forgotten!
The D-day Couture
Priyanka walked down the aisle to Atishay during a cold Delhi winter evening. Atishay, crisp in his Rohit Bal sherwani and Sabyasachi shoes, looked at his bride like it was magic. Priyanka, stealing the show in her Sabyasachi couture and handpicked Jimmy Choo, gazed at her muse in awe.
