Pashyanti and Sahil chose the dreamy forest destination of Corbett in Uttarakhand, India for their wedding. With a lush forest as their wedding background, elegant outdoor events, and beautiful decor and fashion, this Indian wedding was everything that the bride and groom dreamt of.
With all events decorated by the popular The Wedding Planning Company, the first ceremony- the mehendi- took on a pretty vintage tea party theme. Decor featured light pastel florals, airy fabrics and fun props making for great photographs!
What the Bride-to-be Wore
That evening, the engagement took place at The Den. Decorated with lanterns, hanging lights, and fairy lights – the venue looked stunning as the engagement ceremony took place.
Next to the bride and groom were their beloved pets, their dogs, who were present at the various events, including the wedding.
The next morning, the bride and groom held their haldi ceremonies together before the wedding that same evening.
Finally, just before sunset, the wedding took place in a mandap erected in the jungle.
What the Bride Wore
For the wedding, Pashyanti looked gorgeous in a red and yellow lehenga by Asiana Couture. She wore a beautiful choker style gold and pearl necklace, with matching earrings, nose ring, and maang tikka. Her white duppata looked elegant draped over her loosely tousled hair as she made her way to the wedding.
What the Groom Wore
Using the forest as the backdrop for the wedding, the pretty mandap was created in elegant colours of yellow and white with white flowers hanging from the posts. Touches of purple added contrast to this beautiful decor and really made the it pop against the lush green forest. Beautiful hanging lights around the wedding area were lit as Pashyanti and Sahil took their pheras and were married.
